Roots in Central Trinidad
Maurice Parks grew up in Central Trinidad and attended Couva Junior Secondary and Carapichaima Senior Comprehensive. His childhood was shaped as much by the rhythm of village life as it was by long afternoons spent in study and quiet observation.
A Life Between Play and Reflection
Alongside a lifelong love of football, pool, and the careful patience of chess, his creativity took flight in the form of poetry — verses he plans to keep sharing with the world. Each game, in its own way, taught him about strategy, restraint, and the weight of every single move.
